A CNC Machine Shop in China Built for Global OEMs

DEK is a China-based CNC machining company that answers the buyer’s core question with documentation: certified quality systems, inspection records and direct-factory pricing for aerospace, medical, robotics and automotive programs.

Send 2D/3D drawings (STEP, STP, IGES or DWG) with target material, tolerance and volume. An engineer reviews the file directly, and one supplier carries the part from prototype to production without a vendor handoff.

Why OEMs Shortlist DEK

A few numbers carry more weight than a capabilities page full of adjectives. Here is what separates DEK from a directory listing.

  • Production-Scale Volume

1.2M+ critical parts machined annually: a shop running production volume, not a job shop dabbling in one-off work.

  • On-Time Delivery

A 98.6%+ on-time delivery rate, the metric that predicts whether your program stays on schedule once materials and inspection queues get involved.

  • Experienced Leadership

The Factory Director has 17 years in the industry, the Engineering Director 14+ years and the Quality Director 23 years of experience.

  • Dedicated Account Contact

A named contact tracks your job from RFQ through shipment and carries part history and revisions, so re-orders never restart from zero.

Engineering Review at Intake

Quotes are not generated by a cutting-time calculator. An engineer who programs the part checks GD&T, thin walls, undercuts and tolerance stacks, then flags DFM issues before you commit to a price.

What to Check in Machining Suppliers

Process breadth, tolerances, quality stages and lead times: the data to check before shortlisting any overseas supplier.

  • Core Processes Under One Roof

One supplier carries a part from prototype through secondary processes, removing the handoff where schedule risk creeps in.

Industries We Support

Aerospace, medical devices, robotics and semiconductor programs each get the tolerance, documentation and material control their sector requires.

Typical Parts & Challenges We Solve

From gearbox housings to micro components, these are the part types and risks buyers bring to DEK most often.

  • Gearbox & Actuator Housings

Machined to ±0.005 mm fit-critical tolerance for joint and drive assemblies. See robotics machining.

  • Brackets & Motor Mounts

Airframe brackets and motor mounts in lightweight materials for unmanned platforms. See drone machining.

  • Micro Precision Components

Sub-10 mm parts held to ±0.003 mm; Swiss lathes keep slender parts steady under cutting load. See Swiss turning.

  • Semiconductor Fixtures

Precision fixtures and chamber components where consistency across repeat batches matters. See semiconductor.

  • Complex Multi-Face Parts

5-axis milling holds ±0.01 mm profile control on parts that would otherwise need multiple setups. See complex parts.

  • Field Equipment Parts

Hydraulic fittings, gearbox housings and wear plates for off-highway builders. See agriculture parts.

Common Challenges We Handle

  • Hard-to-Machine Alloys

Validated on Ti-6Al-4V, Inconel 718, 17-4PH and 316LVM, materials where poor practice shows up as chatter, drift or tool failure. See superalloys.

  • Process Drift Mid-Batch

IPQC checks during the run catch a drifting tool or fixture mid-batch, and SPC flags variation on repeat-run parts.

  • Wrong-Alloy Stock

IQC inspects raw material and purchased components before anything touches a machine, catching out-of-spec stock before it is cut.

  • Unrealistic Tolerance Stacks

Engineering review surfaces undercuts, unreachable features and stacks beyond process capability before you commit. See undercut guide.

Certified Quality, Audited by TUV

Buying FAQs

Straight answers on cost, lead times, file formats and order quantities.

How much does it cost to get something machined?
Cost depends on material, part complexity, tolerance requirements and order volume: a simple aluminum bracket costs far less per part than a tight-tolerance titanium component. An engineer reviews your drawing, so the price reflects your actual geometry.
How long does production take once a prototype is approved?
Prototypes are delivered in 3 days from design confirmation. Full production lead time depends on complexity, material and volume; it is confirmed at quoting, and your account manager sets a specific date range once the order is confirmed.
What file formats do you need to provide a quote?
Standard CAD formats (STEP, STP, IGES or DWG) are enough for an engineer to review feasibility, tolerances and material fit. Any design change to reduce cost or improve manufacturability comes back with the quote.
Can I order a single prototype without committing to a production volume?
Yes. There is no minimum order quantity, so a prototype run and a scaling production order go through the same quoting and quality process. Many programs start with one part to validate fit and function.
