Instant & Accurate Quotes

We will thoroughly review each drawing and provide accurate quotes.
CNC Machining Engineers

We don't use online automated quotation tools, because it is very inaccurate. Online quote platforms rely solely on calculations based on cutting amounts and fixed coefficients, they fail to account for actual processing nuances, such as material deformation after heat treatment, tight tolerance requirements, grinding after heat treatment, etc. Consequently, automated price calculations can lead to inaccuracies, ultimately increasing your costs.

But you can rest assured at DEK!

Our quotations are both cost-effective and accurate because we have a team of professional mechanical engineers who meticulously review each drawing. These engineers boast over 10 years of experience and possess deep expertise in programming, machine operation, post-processing, material properties, and more. PRODUCTION CAPACITY

Production Capacity Guarantee

With perfect production and quality process, you can place your order with confidence.

Advanced Technology

DEK combines traditional injection molding with our rapid tool making capabilities. This allows us to produce customized, small batch injection molded parts quickly and economically.

With our extensive experience in CNC machining, injection molding, and surface finishes, we can deliver small-lot injection molded parts in specific materials in 2-4 weeks, helping you get your product to market faster.

Quality Control

We follow a strict quality inspection process, starting with a thorough inspection of the appearance, checking the surface of the parts for obvious scratches, bubbles, flaking and other defects to ensure a smooth and even surface; measuring the dimensions of the parts using tools such as calipers, micrometers and other tools to ensure that they conform to the specifications of the design drawings.

Then, according to your needs, we conduct tests such as adhesion, film thickness, environmental resistance and functionality to ensure that the final product fully meets your end-use and quality requirements.

Professional Packaging

After wiping the parts, we package the products with plastic bags and bubble wrap depending on the size and characteristics of the parts. Then after sealing with tape, we label each package so you can quickly identify the contents.

Once the initial packaging is complete, we will pack it into a 5-layer corrugated cardboard box or wooden crate and secure it with pearl cotton or fill it with bubble wrap to prevent damage during transportation. We will also attach a packing slip to the outer box, which not only protects your parts, but also allows you to easily inspect and identify your shipment.

Global Shipping

We have extensive global transportation experience and have cooperated with many international transportation/express companies to ensure that you can receive the products cheaply and quickly.

When quoting, we will conduct a transportation assessment and give you a plan for you to choose:for small quantities, we will use UPS / DHL / TNT / FedEx international express or air transportation, and for large volume and weight, we will recommend you to ship by sea, truck, etc.

TECHNOLOGY OVERVIEW

Learning about Rapid Tooling

What is Rapid Tooling?

Rapid tooling refers to techniques used in manufacturing to quickly produce molds or tools for producing prototypes or small batches of parts. It expedites the tooling process compared to traditional methods.

One common method is rapid prototyping, where a 3D model of the part is created and then used to build a mold or tool using techniques like CNC machining or 3D printing.

According to the different molding materials and molding processes, rapid tooling can be divided into direct rapid tooling and indirect rapid tooling.

What are the Benefits of Rapid Tooling?

  • Significantly reduces tool and mold production time.
  • More cost-effective, especially for small runs or prototyping.
  • Quick turnaround enables dynamic design changes.
  • Accelerates overall project timelines.
  • Supports production of customized or low-volume parts.
  • Allows early testing and validation, reducing errors.
  • Adaptable to various materials and design complexities.
  • Ideal for producing small batches of parts.

When Do You Use Rapid Tooling?

Rapid tooling is used for faster iteration and validation of designs in the early stages of product development.

In automotive design, it swiftly produces molds for prototype parts, while in consumer electronics, it facilitates the rapid creation of molds for new devices. Medical device prototyping benefits from quick mold production for design validation.

Aerospace components, customized footwear, toys, and various consumer goods also need rapid tooling for fast and cost-effective development.
