Instant & Accurate Quotes

We will thoroughly review each drawing and provide accurate quotes.
CNC Machining Engineers

We don't use online automated quotation tools, because it is very inaccurate. Online quote platforms rely solely on calculations based on cutting amounts and fixed coefficients, they fail to account for actual processing nuances, such as material deformation after heat treatment, tight tolerance requirements, grinding after heat treatment, etc. Consequently, automated price calculations can lead to inaccuracies, ultimately increasing your costs.

But you can rest assured at DEK!

Our quotations are both cost-effective and accurate because we have a team of professional mechanical engineers who meticulously review each drawing. These engineers boast over 10 years of experience and possess deep expertise in programming, machine operation, post-processing, material properties, and more. PRODUCTION CAPACITY

Production Capacity Guarantee

With perfect production and quality process, you can place your order with confidence.

Advanced Machine Shop

DEK has a range of advanced laser cutting machines, including C02 Laser Cutting Machines, Nd Laser Cutting Machines and Nd:Yag Laser Cutting Machines.

These modern machines not only process high-precision parts efficiently, but also ensure that each part meets strict tolerances and flatness to meet your needs for high-quality products.

Quality Control

We follow a strict quality inspection process. Parts are initially inspected for obvious defects in surface quality, and then checked for accuracy, dimensions and hardness using CMMs, vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges and hardness testers to ensure that they meet your drawing requirements.

In addition, our quality staff performs thorough inspections using profilometers and laser scanners. Each part is repeatedly inspected at any stage of production to ensure that the final product fully meets your specifications and quality requirements.

Professional Packaging

After wiping the parts, we package the products using plastic bags and bubbles depending on the size and characteristics of the parts. After sealing with tape, we label each package so you can quickly identify the contents.

Once the initial packaging is complete, we will pack the product into a 5-layer corrugated cardboard box or wooden crate and secure it with pearl cotton or fill it with bubble wrap to prevent damage during transportation. We also include a packing slip on the outer box, which not only protects your laser cut parts, but also allows you to easily inspect and identify your shipment.

Global Shipping

We have rich experience in global transportation and cooperate with many international shipping or express companies to ensure that you can receive your products cheaply and quickly.

At the time of quotation, we will conduct a transportation assessment and give you options for you to choose. For small quantities, we will use DHL / FedEx / UPS/TNT international express or airfreight; for larger volume and weight products, we will suggest you to use sea freight, trucks and other transportation methods.

FAQ

Laser Cutting Buying FAQs

Laser cutting is an extremely effective fabrication process enabling high precision, narrow kerf cuts in metals, plastics, and other materials at high production rates. Lasers have precision unmatched by other cutting options.
Lasers are ideal for cutting complex or delicate parts because they melt, vaporize, or burn away material. They can also join some metals through welding, bonding similar metals using intense laser energy to melt and re-fuse metal together.
Laser cutting is slower than other cutting technologies for much thicker sections. Process costs are higher than alternatives like plasma due to safety, maintenance, energy use, and upfront capital costs. Lasers also leave heat-affected zones, which may require secondary processing for some aesthetics.
CO2 and fiber lasers are best for cutting, offering high powers with flexible laser beam delivery. Fiber lasers are newer and preferred as they are more energy efficient, low maintenance, and offer tool-less focal length changes needed for different materials.
We offer high precision laser cutting for metals, including stainless steel, mild steel, aluminum, brass, copper in sheet, plate, tube/pipe forms. Also supports acrylics, woods, plastics like delrin.
Standard lead times run 4-7 business days on average, but rush services may also be possible depending on current shop loading and order requirements.

TECHNOLOGY OVERVIEW

Know More About Laser Cutting

What is Laser Cutting?

Laser cutting is a manufacturing process that utilizes a powerful, focused laser beam to cut through the material. The laser is directed precisely along the desired cut path to melt, burn, or vaporize the material.

Industrial laser cutters use high-power lasers under computer numerical control (CNC) that follow programmed cutting patterns. Laser cutters can process metals, plastics, wood, glass, fabrics, rubber, and more.

The laser beam heats up and cuts through the material without mechanical blades or abrasion, enabling clean and accurate cuts. Tighter laser focusing and higher power levels allow cutting thicker pieces in more intensive production applications.
