Precision shafts require tight control over straightness, concentricity, and surface roughness. Long aspect ratios and tight fit tolerances increase machining complexity.
DEK utilizes high-precision turning, OD grinding, and in-process inspection to control runout below 0.01mm. For critical applications, we combine dynamic balancing, heat treatment, and custom fixtures to maintain geometric tolerances.
All shafts undergo concentricity checks and surface finish inspection using CMMs, roughness testers, and roundness measuring instruments.

We use high-precision cylindrical grinders to achieve Ra 0.4μm finish and <0.01mm runout. Custom jigs ensure shaft stability during grinding.

To maintain concentricity, we turn between centers with center-drilled ends. This method reduces deviation in long shafts.

We apply induction hardening or quenching with full hardness inspection. Material properties are verified post-treatment.

All gear shafts are individually wrapped and secured in molded trays or foam-inserts. For long shafts or heavy parts, fumigation-free wooden crates are used.

Each order is tracked with a digital traveler system. Material certs, heat treat data, and inspection reports are archived and traceable per project.
