Complex Parts With CNC Bending Service
Programming and producing complex bends may be extremely difficult or impossible to do manually. Multiple bends, tight radii, and precise angles are no problem for DEK's CNC Bending Services.
introduction
CNC Bending Services for Custom Parts
Once the bending sequence is programmed, our CNC bender can repeatedly bend identical parts with high consistency.
DEK uses the latest electric press brake technology to provide customers with precision bent metal components. By utilizing adaptive bending software and real-time angle correction, our skilled programmers can achieve extremely tight tolerances of ±0.005mm or better on every bend. Our expertise across a wide range of materials enables us to handle low or high volumes with quick turnarounds.
And with DEK, you get more than just world-class bending—you get support from initial concept through delivery, whether setting up an entire production line or providing just-in-time delivery of finished components. Quality checks are performed at every stage of the process using laser scanning technology to ensure defect-free bending
Our Highlights
Efficiency
Our process reduces overall part costs. Less material waste, faster cycle times, and the need for less skilled labor provide significant efficiency gains.
Speed
DEK’s CNC bending is much faster than manual bending, especially for high-production runs. Simple or complex parts can be pumped out rapidly once the program is set.
Low Cost
The investment in CNC equipment pays for itself through lower per-part costs and competitive capabilities. The key is applying CNC at appropriate production volumes.

TECHNOLOGY OVERVIEW
Basic Knowledge of CNC Bending
What is CNC Bending?
CNC bending is the automated precision bending of metal materials into various shapes and angles using a computer numerically controlled press brake.
The CNC equipment enables the machine to automatically position and adjust the bending punch and die tools based on programmed parameters to create accurate complex repeatedly bends much faster and more efficiently than manual operation. Though the initial equipment costs are higher, CNC bending improves both quality and productivity by eliminating scrap and the specialized skills required with conventional brake operation.
With frequent tooling changes made easier through soft tooling, advanced simulation, and offline programming, machines equipped for CNC bending can bend various parts with tight tolerances and multiple bends with little direct operator guidance.
