Bicycle parts like hubs, crank arms, and linkages often require tight tolerances, smooth surface finishes, and high repeatability. Thin walls and long axial features increase the machining difficulty.
DEK uses 5-axis machining, high-speed spindles, and custom fixturing to maintain geometric tolerance and surface flatness. All parts undergo pre-anodizing burr removal and concentricity checks with roundness instruments.
From lightweight aluminum to titanium, we apply optimized toolpaths and in-process inspection to minimize deformation and improve life-cycle fatigue resistance.

We use simultaneous 5-axis milling for complex shapes such as crank arms or frame junctions. This ensures consistent wall thickness and improved strength-to-weight ratio in load-bearing bike parts.

We control roundness and runout with high-precision boring heads and verify using roundness gauges and CMM. Ideal for hubs and bottom bracket parts.

Titanium bicycle parts are pre-heat treated and machined with optimized feeds to reduce stress and prevent warping. Surface passivation is available.

All aluminum parts are manually and mechanically deburred prior to anodizing. We control chamfer size and edge break as per drawing.

We inspect threaded and press-fit zones using GO/NO-GO gauges and bore micrometers. Thread quality is verified before surface treatment.
