Heat sink plates require tight flatness, accurate slot positioning, and consistent surface finish to ensure efficient thermal transfer. Deep milling of thin walls and maintaining parallelism are common machining challenges.
At DEK, we use multi-axis CNC milling, vacuum clamping, and optimized tool paths to achieve tight flatness control and accurate dimensional stability. Anodizing and nickel plating are applied for enhanced heat dissipation and corrosion resistance.
Every part is inspected with CMM and surface roughness testers to ensure full compliance with the drawings, even on high-volume runs. Our machining engineers balance cost, tolerance, and thermal performance in each project.

We use 5-axis CNC to handle thin plates without deformation, combining vacuum fixtures and controlled tool pressure. Flatness up to ±0.01mm is achieved.

We provide anodizing, nickel plating, and chromate conversion. Each coating is tested for thickness and conductivity with spectrometers.

Machining strategies minimize residual stress, while post-process grinding ensures maximum contact area for efficient heat transfer.
